Joseph Kneser, age 74, died Sunday, June 13, 2010 at his home in Oldwick, NJ.

Born in Elizabeth, NJ, he was the son, of the late Joseph and Josephine Kneser.
Joe grew up in Bernardsville and had lived in Whitehouse Station and the last 34 years in Oldwick. 

Joseph  was a steamfitter and belonged to the Steamfitters Local Union 300-475 in Warren, NJ. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving between 1954 and 1956.

Joseph was predeceased by his daughter, Jennifer Kneser and his sister, Joanne Petry.

He is survived his wife of 49 years, Elizabeth(Spann) Kneser, his two sons, Joseph Kneser of Enderlin, NC; and Daniel Kneser of Bozrah, CT; his two daughters, Elizabeth Coronato of Hampton and Marie Newell of Oldwick. He is also survived by his two brothers, Paul Kneser of Levant, ME and William Kneser of Far Hills and his eleven grandchildren, Daniel, Joseph, Samuel, Allison, Margit, Jennifer, Madeline, Catherine, Matilda, John and AJ.

Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, at 11:00 AM at St. Brigid Catholic Church in Peapack.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial donations to: Hunterdon Hospice, 2100 Wescott Drive, Flemington, NJ 08822.
