Stanley Rozycki, formerly of Whitehouse, NJ, died Thursday July 1, 2010 at the Brakeley Park Center in Philipsburg.

Born, May 5, 1940 in Somerville, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Frank and Francis Rozycki of Manville, NJ. He grew up in Manville, NJ and graduated from Manville High School. He lived in Manville until the age of 20 and then moved to Whitehouse where he raised his family. The last year was spent at the Brakeley Park Center in Phillipsburg.

He retired from UPS after 35 years of service. Previous to UPS he worked for the John's Manville Company and also spent time as an electrician. He loved to fish with his friends and family in the streams, reservoirs, and off the coast of New Jersey in addition to the fishing trips to Florida, New York State and Canada. Stanley also enjoyed watching many forms of auto racing, particularly his own son's stock car racing at the old Flemington Raceway and currently at New Egypt Speedway.

Stanley attended Our Lady of Lourdes church in Whitehouse. He was a member of the VFW of Manville and Glen Gardner, New Jersey. He was also a member of the Polish Alliance Citizens Club of Whitehouse.

He is survived by his sons, Jesse, Brian and Jarrett who were at his side at the time of his passing; his sisters, Wanda Tuchudy, Helen Matuliewitz, Jenny Dacuk and Mary Pirhalla; and grandchildren Elena, Michelle, Stephanie, Justin and Nathan. He was pre-deceased by his brothers, Walter, Cassey, Joseph and John.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the Brakeley Park Center of Phillipsburg, for their incredible support over that last year and especially the last few weeks. Their staff truly became part of Stanley's life and for that his family is very grateful.

Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, July 6, 2010, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse.
