Soley, Sr., age 85 of Whitehouse Station, NJ, died Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ. Born in Plymouth, PA, he was the son of the late John and the late Mary Soley. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII. Bernie graduated from Kings College in Wilkes Barre, PA and received his Masters Degree from Seton Hall University. He taught in the Readington Township School district for 18 years and retired from St. Pius X High School in Piscataway where he was the head of discipline and taught 11th and 12th grade English for 18 years. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station and served as an usher for 50 years. He is survived by his wife, four children and five grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, on Friday, September 3, 2010. Friends may visit with the family at 9:00 AM in the church Narthex. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Annandale, NJ. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Kearns Funeral Home, Whitehouse.
