Peter J. Digricoli, Sr., age 89 of Whitehouse Station, NJ, died Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Bridgeway Care and Rehabilitation Center in Hillsborough, NJ.
Born in Manhattan he was the son of the late Anthony and Josephine Digricoli.
Pete was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War.
He was a Criminal Investigator for the IRS and the State of New York before retiring in 1993.
Pete was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station. He enjoyed gardening and always had an exceptional vegetable and flower garden. He and his late wife, Eileen who died in 2014 enjoyed taking trips with the Readington Seniors but his favorite thing to do was spend time with his grandchildren.
Pete is survived by his daughters, Kathleen Murphy and her husband, James of Branchburg; Jane Cristallo and her husband, Steven of Sammamish, WA; his sons, Anthony Digricoli and his wife, Renee of Hillsborough; Peter Digricoli and his wife, Barbara of Branchburg; and Edward Digricoli of Whitehouse Station. He is also survived by his twelve devoted grandchildren, Kristen Cardona and her husband, Victor, James, Patrick, Brian, Matthew, Andrew, Tara, Daniel, Amanda, Michael, Christopher, and Ryan and his great grandson, Mason James Cardona.
Family and friends may visit with the family on Monday, November 27, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 9:30 AM Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Whitehouse Station.
Entombment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway.
