Irene Parratt, age 87 of Annandale, NJ, died Thursday, January 14, 2021 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ.

 

Born in Elizabeth, she was the daughter of the late John and Susan Popovich.

 

Irene lived in South Plainfield before moving to Annandale 40 years ago.

 

She worked for many years as a salesclerk for Flemington Furs in Flemington.

 

Irene was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Annandale.  She was private and unassuming and was content with a simple life.  Those who knew her will miss her quiet presence.

 

She was predeceased by her son, Matthew Parratt.

 

Irene is survived by her daughter, Cyndi Parratt-Twigg from Sarasota, FL and her four grandchildren, Jason Walsh, Becky O'Donnell, Jessica Gregg and Ryan Parratt.  

 

A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 10:00 am at  Immaculate Conception Church in Annandale.

 

Inurnment will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
